From download to your instance
- 01
Install the APK
Open the downloaded file on your Android phone. If prompted, allow your browser to install this app. You can turn that permission off afterward.
- 02
Set your server URL
Enter the HTTPS address you use to open the Loryth app in your browser. Leave out page paths and /api. We’ll check the connection before saving.
- 03
Sign in and settle in
Sign in to your instance as usual. The app remembers your server for next time. Use “Change server” at the top whenever you need another instance.
Can’t connect?
Your phone must be able to reach the server. For a private instance, connect to its Wi-Fi or VPN. Use HTTPS with a certificate your phone trusts.
Already have Loryth installed?
Download and open the new APK to update it. Your server address and sign-in stay on your device. Updates are installed manually from this page.
What’s new in 0.2.0
Connect to your own HTTPS instance, remember its address, and switch servers from the app. Includes connection checks and retry controls.
Verify your download
Compare the file’s SHA-256 hash with the checksum above. Android also checks the signing key when you install an update over an existing copy.
An existing Loryth instance is required. This APK displays your instance’s web app; an internet or local network connection is needed.
